CASABIANCA RESEARCH GROUP

Welcome to the

NanoBio NMR Lab

Department of Chemistry, Clemson University

Research in the lab is focused on developing NMR methods for studying interactions between nanomaterials and small molecules or biological macromoleucles. Our group uses a variety of NMR techniques including experimental solution and solid-state NMR, calculated chemical shifts, and Dynamic Nuclear Polarization. Our work is multidisciplinary and has applications in the fields of drug delivery, biomedical devices, materials science, and nanomaterials toxicity. You are welcome to browse our site in order to learn more about our team and our work.

Interested in our work? The lab is currently seeking new graduate students! Contact Prof. Casabianca for more information.

Our work is supported by the National Science Foundation Environmental Chemical Science (grant number CHE-2304888)and the Chemical Measurement and Imaging (grant number CHE-1751529) programs in the Division of Chemistry and the Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR). We also acknowledge support from the National Science Foundation Major Research Instrumentation Program (grant number CHE-1725919) Any opinions, findings, and conclusions or recommendations expressed in this website are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the views of the National Science Foundation. Acknowledgment is made to the Donors of the American Chemical Society Petroleum Research Fund for support of this research (grant number 58738-DNI6).
